The latest instalment from the collaboration between Nike and Japan’s Undercover Gyakusou has arrived for the new season, and we quite frankly believe it is their best collection to date. Always designed with functionality and performance in mind, what really draws us to this collaborative effort is the level of attention assigned to the lean aesthetic and detailing of the garments.
Strategically tailoring airflow for eras of high stress, the collection’s outerwear is equipped with Nike’s Sweat Map technology and a variety of carefully placed ventilation and to provide warmth on those cold winter outings Therma-Fit polyester wool blend panels and Aeroloft 800 technology have been utilised for a selection of expertly executed layering pieces.
As always, the collection’s palette reflects the designer’s signature urban-rural sensitivity with understated city hues and natural tones. The collection features dark obsidian, deep smolder, black, dark armory blue, bog green, armory navy and dark grey. We particularly love the dark obsidian Utility Long Tights which offer a nylon blend panelled upper and a polyester blend Dri-Fit lower panel.
The collection drops online today on END.
