Memorable design makes us stop and reassess our approach and relationship with something. It also challenges accepted, and often long-established ‘standards’ – and aims to present an idea to us in a new, informative and innovative way.

In this case, Biegert and Funk’s Qlocktwo W Watch informs its us of the time via actual words, supplied by an elegant grid of 110 letters. Against the traditional formats of Clock hands and Digital numbers, the Qlocktwo W is a unique way of telling the time.

We love it and cannot wait to get our hands on one…. or two.

Available from Autumn 2012 from Qlocktwo.com.
