Then we may have found what you have been looking for…Burtonwode is a brand from Liverpool- founded by artist David Huglin- which crafts quality boxer shorts inspired by a sketch of some pyjamas. It combines personality and comfort to provide gentlemen’s necessities with an eye on style and a focus on quality English manufacture; the fabric is custom printed in a traditional Carlisle mill, then sent down to Canning Town where the textile is cut, assembled and stitched.
Burtonwode has thought of every little detail such as putting the label on the outside right thigh rather than the inside belt band to prevent itching. Although this may sound like a minor detail, it holds in fact a key role to producing a short with optimum comfort in mind.
The line offers a range of colourful prints, our favourite being the purple Einstein print, which in our eyes sums up the ethos of the brand perfectly: a cleverly made quality undergarment with a sense of humour.
